Opis
Cabasa je ročni ritmični inštrument, ki spada v skupino idiofonov, saj zvok nastaja z gibanjem samega instrumenta. Sestavljena je iz ročaja ter valjastega telesa, okoli katerega je ovita veriga z drobnimi kovinskimi kroglicami. Zvok se proizvaja z vrtenjem ali stresanjem cabase, pri čemer kroglice drsijo po površini valja in ustvarjajo značilen šumeč, ritmičen zven.
