Model Player II Stratocaster HSS izžareva brezčasni Fenderjev značaj, hkrati pa je prilagojen potrebam današnjih kitaristov. Vrat je zasnovan za hitro in tekoče igranje – od modernega »C« profila z gladkim satiniranim uretanskim finišem na zadnji strani do udobne ubiralke z radijem 9,5", iz palisandra ali javorja, z zaobljenimi robovi in 22 medium jumbo prečkami.
Na voljo je trup iz jelše, komorno izdelanega jesena ali komorno izdelanega mahagonija, v klasičnem Fender finišu ter v barvah iz arhivov, ki jih doslej še nismo videli.
Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Strat magneti in Player Series Alnico II humbucker ponujajo kristalno čiste visoke tone, bogate srednje frekvence in čvrste nizke tone – popolno za vse glasbene zvrsti.
