Sela Kalimba 17 je izdelana iz visokokakovostnega mahagonijevega lesa. Telo inštrumenta ojača nizke frekvence in tako proizvede poln, čist in topel zvok s fascinantno resonanco. Visokokakovostne kovinske tipke so uglašene v C-duru in imajo razpon od c' – e'' (C4 – E6). Zaradi odtisnjenih not na zvočnih tipkah je Kalimba primerna tako za začetnike kot tudi za napredne igralce.
