85/15 bron (alias Great American Bronze) je manj znana struna, ki združuje vzdržljivost in dolgo življenjsko dobo fosforjevega brona s svetlostjo in sijajem 80/20 brona. Struna ima heksagonalno jedro D'Addario iz visoko vsebnostjo ogljikovega jekla, ki ima visoko natezno trdnost, odlično intonacijo in stabilno uglasitev. Nato se natančno strojno navije z 85/15 bronasto ovojno žico, kar posledično predstavlja dolgotrajno, svetlo in udarno struno.
